The background
Latus Group is one of the UK’s top occupational health service providers. The business’s team of medical professionals, including physicians, occupational health technicians, physios and rehabilitators, work with businesses to establish wellbeing initiatives, provide health assessments, and make employees feel safe and happy in the workplace.
The project
Latus Group has grown rapidly in recent years, bringing new challenges, including the need for a new scheduling system. Their previous system lacked scalability and flexibility and was not a good fit for their occupational health organisation. They needed a solution that could adapt to the way they work and grow with them, enabling them to schedule medical assessments and health checks and assign appointments to mobile health professionals without needing repeated system updates. Due to their fast-paced growth, the business had little time to trial products and wanted to get a new system up and running as quickly as possible.
Why Latus Group chose Eworks Manager
Latus Group’s Head of Service Operations, Rob Amies, was tasked with finding a scalable scheduling system. After researching a few options, Eworks Manager stood out, mainly for the exceptional product knowledge and support in being able to adapt the Eworks job management solution for their specific medical appointment scheduling needs.. Following the software demo, Account Manager Danny met with the business two to three times a week to answer questions. Rob explained that no question was too big or small for Danny, and they quickly built a good rapport, which was a key reason the business chose Eworks Manager. The team was also impressed by features like reporting and the mobile app, both unavailable in their previous system.

The result
In early December 2024, Latus Group chose to launch the system at the start of the new year. With less than a month to prepare, Eworks Manager made it happen.
